Counselling & Psychotherapy

Every story deserves a space to be heard.

This is Your Listening Space.

Humans First, Labels Last

In the deepest sense, you are the author of yourself. Before any label, any diagnosis, any category, there is a human being. This is a space where that human being is met first, held with care, and given room to write what comes next.

About Manasvi

Hi, I'm Manasvi.

I am a trauma-informed, person-centred psychotherapist with a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy and a registered member of PACFA. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing does not happen in isolation. It happens in relationship, and the therapeutic relationship itself is often where something in us begins to shift.

My work is relational at its core. I also draw on Internal Family Systems and parts work when it feels right, gently exploring the different parts of ourselves that carry our stories, our protection, and our pain. Alongside this, I integrate somatic awareness, ACT, EFT, and attachment-based approaches, always following what the person in front of me needs rather than a fixed method.

Working with the LGBTQIA+ community is something I hold close. I understand that for many people in this community, simply finding a therapist who is genuinely affirming, and not just tolerant, can feel like an enormous ask. In this space, you will not be asked to educate me, justify who you are, or navigate language that does not fit. Your identity, your relationships, and your experience of the world are welcomed here without question or condition.

I have a particular tenderness for young adults and adolescents. This is one of the most charged and uncertain times in a person's life, where identity is still being shaped, expectations press in from every direction, and the pressure to have it all figured out can feel immense. I do not rush this process. I sit in it with you, with patience and without judgement.

I also work extensively with neurodivergent clients. Whether you carry a formal diagnosis or simply feel that your mind moves differently from those around you, I bring genuine curiosity rather than a fixed clinical lens. Too often, neurodivergent individuals are asked to adapt, mask, or fit into systems not built for them. Here, the way your mind works is not a problem to be solved. It is something to be understood, respected, and worked with.

Outside the therapy room, I am usually out on a long run. There is something about the rhythm of it, moving through discomfort steadily without forcing, that I find myself drawing on when I sit with clients in their hardest moments.

My door is open when you are ready.

How I Work

A practice grounded in relationship, safety, and dignity.

01

Cultural Safety, Always

You will not be asked to explain or justify your background, your identity, or your story. I commit to listening with care, learning continuously, and showing up with humility. Practices are always negotiated together, your boundaries are respected, and your experiences are held within frameworks that honour your dignity and self-determination.

02

Somatic Awareness

Body and mind are not separate. What shows up as tightness in the chest, unexplained fatigue, or chronic pain is often the body's quiet way of carrying what has not yet been put into words. In our work together, we slow down and listen to those signals as part of your full story.

03

Healing Within Relationship

My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is not something done to a person. It is something that happens within relationship, within safety, and within a space that truly honours who you are. There is no single story of suffering, and no single path through it. I bring that understanding into every session.

Who I Walk With

Every reason is a valid one.

I approach each person with attunement, patience, and a deep respect for the complexity of their lived experience.

Anyone Ready to Listen Within

You do not need a diagnosis, a crisis, or a tidy reason. If something in you is asking to be heard, that is enough to begin.

Refugees & People Seeking Asylum

Holding the intersection of displacement, grief, cultural identity, and the profound strength required to begin again.

Young Adults & Adolescents

That charged, uncertain time of becoming deserves a particular tenderness. I meet young people where they actually are, not where they are expected to be.

Neurodivergent Individuals

Genuine curiosity about how you experience and move through the world. No templates, no forcing you into someone else's framework.

Cultural Loss & Disrupted Belonging

Navigating what it means to exist between worlds, and building a sense of self strong enough to hold all of it.

Marginalised Communities

People who have been unheard, unseen, or asked to leave parts of themselves at the door. You are welcome here, whole.

Our Story

Why Your Listening Space

"I grew up in Mumbai, a city that never sleeps. And truth be told, it really never does."

I watched my family and neighbours move through life with relentless drive, always chasing the next thing, always in motion. I learnt that was the way of life. There was not a single minute of silence in which I could hear what was going on within me.

Everything changed on a one-way ticket to Australia at twenty-two. I arrived full of possibility, a new place, new people, a life I had imagined but never quite lived. That was when I realised it is not how it looks from the outside.

This place forced me to listen to what was happening inside me. Something I had never experienced before, and had probably never believed existed. Two years of reflective practice and sitting with my own inner restlessness slowly changed that.

I began to hear what I had been carrying. I felt connected to myself, and honest with myself, perhaps for the first time. It brought some of my hardest truths to the surface, and accepting them felt like breaking a glass on the floor with no possibility of putting it back together, because the broken, whole, complicated glass was all of me.

It was from that place that I came to therapy, not as a clinician, but as a person who needed a space to be heard. That experience quietly became the foundation of everything I do. It taught me what it feels like to sit across from someone and finally not have to explain yourself. To be met without conditions. That is what I want to offer you.
